The Karnataka government is making a big effort to boost tourism by launching a Rs 145-crore mega project at the scenic Manchanabele Dam.This massive project is under-hyped and under construction in the Ramanagara district, about 40 km away from the capital city of Bengaluru; the PPP (public-private partnership) model will turn this region into a tourist destination.
Manchanabele Dam: A Jewel in the Making
The Manchanabele Dam, located in the calmly supported Arkavathi Valley, is in fact one of the most popular for its beauty and calming environment. - Possibility of smart parking for 100 [automobiles].

The project will be developed under the design, build, finance, operate, and transfer (DBFOT) model, with a concession period of 30 years. The selected firm will handle all aspects of the project, including planning, construction, operation, and maintenance, and will have the right to collect user fees during this period.
